Hewlett-Packard Australia has appointed Ingram Micro Australia as its new wholesaler.

The distribution agreement includes HP Vectra, Kayak, Brio, the NetServer product range, OmniBook mobile PCs, information storage products, mono and colour LaserJets, and HP 2000 and 2500 printers.

Through its wholesaler network strategy, HP aims to lift computer and peripherals sales to $1 billion by 2001.
