Onyx has appointed Mark Camilleri as managing director, Australia/New Zealand. Mr Camilleri had previously worked for Oracle Corporation.

Adobe Systems is expanding its Sydney-based Pacific operations with six new positions. Among the appointments are regional account manager Andrew Allsop, who will develop channel partnerships and OEM, reseller and VAR relationships.

BackupNet has appointed Steve Liebeskind chief operating officer. Mr Liebeskind will oversee the development of BackupNet's franchising network, BackupNetWorks.

Compuware has appointed Alan Pick channels manager for Australia and New Zealand in a move to bolster the company's e-commerce capabilities and strengthen relations with channel partners, VARs and resellers.

Hitachi Data Systems has appointed Lindon Watson as enterprise resource planning manager. Mr Watson will head a team to develop and manage ERP projects across Australia and New Zealand. Hitachi has also appointed John Rugg manager of data centre services for Australia/NZ.
