Four colour inkjet printer arrives

Epson has announced the release of the Stylus Colour 300 inkjet printer.

The Stylus Colour 300 is a 720dpi resolution printer and is capable of printing text speeds of three pages per minute (ppm) in black and 1.2ppm in colour at five per cent coverage.

The printer uses four colours in one cartridge, cyan, magenta, yellow and black and can produce high quality letters, reports and images.

The Stylus Colour 300 also features an ÔautomaticÕ mode that takes the guesswork out of printer settings. It scans the page to be printed and automatically chooses the best settings for each item.

It is compatible with Windows 95, Windows 3.1 and 3.11 and costs $299.
