MDY Business Solutions has launched its flagship records management product FileSurf, in a move to target legal firms, the government sector and commercial organisations.
FileSurf uses a combination of barcode, Internet and relational database technologies to track an organisation's physical and electronic documents throughout the enterprise.
The solution is designed to manage the lifecycle of a document, from creation to final disposal. It enables online file requests, complete audit trail monitoring, retention scheduling and security, allowing users to search, track and request corporate records at any time, and from any location through an enabled PC or the Internet.
The product is tightly integrated with PC DOCS and iManage. It also integrates with MRI, CompInfo's Law Pack Case Management System, Elite law firm accounting package, and other legal support tools.
