Objective Appoints Local Government Industry Solution Manager

November 19 2008: Enterprise content management (ECM) software provider Objective Corporation has announced the appointment of David Schultz as its Industry Solution Manager for Local Government, highlighting the firms focus on the market.

According to Objective CEO Tony Walls, the challenges for Local Government are broad and complex as State and Federal governments have assigned greater responsibility to them, while communities are continually demanding greater local service levels.

At the same time, stakeholders are also demanding greater transparency and accountability, opening up more space for Objective’s solutions.

Objective says that Schultz’s appointment underscores its committed to providing the next generation of Local Government process and collaboration management solutions, helping to deliver greater service levels to the community at reduced cost.

“David’s career spans many years of experience in the Information Technology sector in Local Government. He has held a number of senior positions, recently at Technology One, and prior to that at Avand,” said Walls. “His deep expertise in the Local Government sector will ensure that Objective’s solutions target the current and evolving needs of our Local Government customers.”
