Whiteboards add colour scanning

July 16, 2009:Panasonic has introduced a new colour scanning feature in its Panaboard electronic whiteboards.

Two new models in the range - the Panaboard UB-5838C Widescreen (A$3999) and the UB-5338C ($A3499) whiteboards enable information and illustrations or diagrams to be captured in full colour.

The information is simply scanned and saved as an electronic file that can be emailed or printed as a convenient record of important, content-rich discussions.

Images and written notes on the board can be scanned in as little as 20 seconds to a PDF, TIFF or JPEG file and transferred to memory card or distributed by email.

A scan can also be saved straight to a computer or network drive via a USB cable.
