DotImage 8.0 reveals new imaging capabilities

September 4, 2009:Atalasoft has announced the release of DotImage 8.0, the latest version of its .NET imaging toolkit for enterprise content management (ECM) and electronic medical record (EMR) solutions.

Atalasoft's DotImage 8.0 introduces Microsoft Silverlight viewing and annotating controls and a new barcode writing toolkit. In addition, Atalasoft extended its AJAX imaging toolkit with drag-and-drop thumbnails, the ability to add a thread of comments to any annotation, and a control that makes web scanning easy to integrate with JavaScript.

Popular add-on components are also available for DotImage and including: PDF viewing, TWAIN and ISIS scanning, OCR for .NET & Searchable PDF creation, .NET barcode recognition, DICOM support, CAD support, and JPEG2000 and JBIG2 codecs.
