Open source portal software developer Liferay has launched a document-sharing and synchronisation tool for mobile devices, Liferay Sync, available in both Google Play for Android and the Apple App Store 

It aims to give business users a seamless experience editing and accessing documents across mobile, desktop and web environments. 

"With Liferay Sync, we are helping Liferay users stay connected to their enterprise assets without worrying about which systems they come from," said Liferay CEO Bryan Cheung.
