1Spatial launches spatial management

1Spatial has launched 1Spatial Management Suite (1SMS) at the Asia Geospatial Forum in Malaysia, designed as a solution that enables users to efficiently plan, maintain and publish large amounts of spatial data, whilst automating production workflows.

The suite is underpinned by enterprise database and Service Oriented Architecture technology from industry leaders including Oracle.

Marcus Hanke, CEO, 1Spatial said: “We are delighted to launch 1SMS, which supports all the key areas of the spatial data lifecycle. Organisations ranging from National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies, Government, Utilities, Defence, logistics and transport companies are looking for faster, more efficient ways to manage spatial big data in a cost effective way, whilst boosting productivity.

"1SMS manages the end to end process of planning, maintaining and publishing data and ensures it is safe, accurate and always in a validated and publishable state. It ensures organisations can rely on their data to make critical business decisions and use it to continually launch new and innovative products and services for their customers and users.”

He continued, “the geospatial picture is changing fast with a trend towards correlating large amounts of data from a wide variety of sources. We have used our extensive knowledge and experience of working with the world’s largest, spatial big data sets to develop a product portfolio that meets the spatial data requirements of organisations now and in the future.”

1SMS can be utilised as an entire suite of products which interact together, or as standalone products that can integrate and plug in with an organisation's current infrastructure. The suite is made up of four main product families which represent the main phases in the data lifecycle.

Earlier this year 1Spatial launched the first product from 1SMS, 1Edit, a touchscreen solution to manage real world spatial data editing and capture.
