IBM has acquired Daeja Image Systems, a provider of software that makes it easier for business and IT professionals to view large documents and images. Daeja is a privately held software company with headquarters in Milton Keynes, UK. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Metalogix has launched what it describes as a dynamic email management suite able to transparently migrate, store, secure and protect email and file content for on premises and hybrid cloud environments. 

Embarcadero Technologies, a provider of software solutions for application and database development, has announced the release of Embarcadero CONNECT, the company’s new metadata governance platform. 

Metalogix has released Content Matrix 6.2, featuring new capabilities for administrators to allow Site and Site Collection owners and Power Users to tag, classify and organise SharePoint content before, during and after a SharePoint migration.

Recommind, a developer of unstructured data management, analysis and governance technology, has received $US15 million funding from SAP Ventures. Recommind will use the funds to expand the reach of its CORE technology platform as well as expansion into new markets.
