Apparent has unveiled an update to its tiny tiny Doxie rechargeable scanners, Doxie Go Plus & Doxie Go Wi-Fi.

Building on the Doxie Go battery-powered scanner, Doxie Go Plus and Doxie Go Wi-Fi promise 3x the battery life, higher quality images, one minute setup, and new iOS apps.

Doxie scans everything from bills and receipts to reports, drawings, recipes, notes, business cards, photos.

A connected computer is not necessary as the built-in Smart Memory allows up to 300 scans per charge, although the new Doxie Go Wi-Fi provides wireless syncing of scans directly to your computer or iOS device.

Auto Adjust software applies smart cropping, de-skew, and automatic contrast.

Doxie's included app creates searchable PDFs, and sends directly to your favorite apps and cloud services – like Dropbox, OneNote, & Evernote. 

Doxie Go Wi-Fi features an open access protocol that lets users and developers build Doxie into their own service or software – or simply create their own perfect paperless workflow (available Q1 2015).

Doxie Go Plus is $US179 – now available and shipping worldwide. Doxie Go Wi-Fi is $US229, now available for order – shipping mid-December with guaranteed delivery for Christmas (U.S. only).
