When Bills Are Good News

August 21st, 2006: CommSecure Limited an Australian provider of e-business solutions, announced that it has today entered into a three year teaming agreement with a division of Salmat Limited.

Salmat provides customers in its business process outsourcing ("BPO") division services such as data analytics, paper bill printing, mailing, archiving together with comprehensive account and project management. CommSecure will be Salmat's exclusive provider of electronic bill presentment and payment ("EBPP") services for the period of the agreement.

Prior to entering into this agreement, Salmat and CommSecure have worked together to win and implement a number of electronic bill presentment contracts with blue-chip clients. The companies are currently in the final stages of negotiating a long-term contract with one of Australia's largest utility companies.

"We see the teaming agreement as a natural alliance between market leaders to offer comprehensive and innovative billing and receivables infrastructure solutions" says Mr Peter Townsley, CommSecure's Chief Executive Officer.

"Salmat is widely regarded as being the foremost provider of document-based solutions to Australia's blue chip billers, whereas our secure EBPP technology services extend Salmat's current offering to its customers."

Mr Townsley added that "the teaming agreement provides CommSecure with enhanced and highly cost-effective channels to market. The successes that we have already achieved together in a short time demonstrate that the synergies between the two companies are real, so we are looking forward to working with Salmat over the next three years and beyond."

David Besson, the Divisional Director of Salmat's BPO division, said: "We see this relationship as a strategic offering in our suite of billing services. This is a valuable addition in products available for BPO customers."
