D-Link Unveils New Switches

January 24, 2006: With eyes firmly set on the SMB/enterprise market, D-Link has announced its new xStack switching range.

With the xStack D-Link is aiming to give everyone from small to medium businesses (SMB) to enterprises the same core functionality and a complete end-to-end traffic control solution. It says that the new switch provides “proactive network security management, industry-wide interoperability, high performance 10 Gigabit stacking and end-to-end traffic control.”

All of the xStack’s include Single-IP-Management (SIM), which enables control of up to 32 switches through a single IP address.

“In a fiercely competitive market, network performance is key,” says Domenic Torre, Managing Director D-Link Australia & New Zealand. “Businesses are demanding faster and more professional switching products, but at aggressive price points.”

The xStack range is available now.
