Interwoven Enhance WorkSite Mobility

April 24, 2008: Interwoven has announced an upgrade to its WorkSite Mobility suite that will make it available on all smart phones, not just Blackberry’s.

In an increasingly wireless world where most professionals carry their operating system of choice in their pocket, it’s no surprise that the rise of mobility programs has been constant. Interwoven seeks to keep the ball rolling in this area with the latest version of its WorkSite Mobility product.

Previously available only to BlackBerry users, the software is now available as a web-based solution that any smart phone with a browser can use to access and govern their business content. WorkSite Mobility allows users to access files, collaborate with colleagues, manage email and share information with clients by using their smart phone as a portal.

“Today, professional services firms are becoming more global and employees are spending more time on the road. The ability to provide mobile professionals with access to critical business content is an important component of what Interwoven refers to as ‘the firm of the future,’” said Neil Araujo, vice president of professional services industry solutions marketing at Interwoven.

The new version of Interwoven’s WorkSite Mobility is expected to be generally available by the end of Quarter 2, 2008.
