LandCorp gets Objective

March 12, 2008: The Western Australian Government’s land and property developer, LandCorp has signed on with Objective to boost their Enterprise Content Management (ECM).

LandCorp is currently focused on sustainable development across the state with the long term aim of securing economic and social prosperity for all West Australians. Having their previous system run on hard copies, their records management was draining time and resources and staff needed a single information system to bridge the gap between physical and electronic business records.

Tony Walls, CEO at Objective is thrilled with LandCorp’s decision and believes the move will build on the ECM companies already strong presence in WA, which Objective consider to be an important market.

“We are committed to the region, employing an ever growing number ofexperienced, local people... We are thrilled to be able to support LandCorp in their continualgrowth and provide a single, comprehensive solution that will solvetheir document and record management needs and serve to supportthe key business function of maximising property returns anddelivering social and economic benefits for the people of WesternAustralia,” said Walls.

ECM is of particular importance to a property developer, as the extensive project management systems around the sale of land involve a variety of different teams contributing to different stages of the project. This can quickly cause headaches if not managed effectively and was exactly the situation LandCorp has sought to avoid by getting on board with Objective.
