Alphawest net NSW Govt. consultancy role
Information management specialists Alphawest have been appointed to the New South Wales Government’s Panel Contract, ITS 2001, for the provision of IT Strategic Advisors Consultancy Services.
The appointment recognises Alphawest’s position as a provider of IT services and solutions to the NSW Government, with the company having recently been selected to ITS 2323 Records and Information Management Systems GSAS (Government’s Selected Application Systems) and ITS 2305 Provision of Internet Services and Products panel agreements.
Alphawest will fulfil its role in partnership with business strategy advisors TFG International.
"Alphawest is very pleased with this result, which is yet another example of how Alphawest can deliver value to government through a partnership approach," says Mark Towers, National Manager, Information Management, Alphawest.
"Alphawest’s appointment of the ITS 2001 contract will enable us to extend our long term relationship with the NSW Government through the provision of strategic consulting services aimed at developing an integrated approach to the management and implementation of information systems across Government."
Towers believes that combining the strengths of the two companies will enhance their service offering to the State Government.
"Through this relationship, Alphawest is better placed to partner with NSW Government agencies as they strive to continually improve the quality and delivery of information and services to the NSW community, whilst maximising the value of their significant IT investment.
"TFG International’s executive level experience, particularly with complex IT projects, is very complementary to Alphawest’s position as a leading Australian provider of Information Management and Business Infrastructure solutions to Government."
TFG International provides a significant track record at the senior executive level. TFG International has been responsible for the development and implementation of numerous business strategies and policies as well as complex IT projects across Government and business.
TFG International Director John McKay added: "TFG looks forward to working with Alphawest and NSW Government agencies to ensure that the Government’s IT strategies are closely aligned to achieving business goals. Our Directors have extensive experience at converting policy into results and together with Alphawest’s breadth of IT services experience we offer the NSW Government an unrivalled level of expertise."
