Investigating all aspects of KM
Investigating all aspects of KM
The Delphi Group has assembled an array of local and international speakers to launch its inaugural International Knowledge Management Summit - IKMS '99, to be held in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, from August 25 - 27 1999.
Highlights of the event include a demonstration of the next wave of community-based computing by the Stanford Research Institute. This involves distributed knowledge, software and humans working together in a single dynamic community.
British Aerospace will also discuss how it created one of Europe's first customised corporate information portals in an effort to improve cross-enterprise access.
The Delphi Group will also present the latest local research findings on the uptake of Corporate Portals./p>
As the reality of KM makes itself felt in business, The Delphi Group has produced this event to take delegates from concept and theory through to actionable outcomes.
Besides daily opening keynote addresses, delegates will also be able to participate in parallel sessions focussing on three main elements - strategy, technology and culture.
Leading product enablers such as Autonomy, FileNET, Hewlett-Packard, Lotus, Microsoft, Open Text, Insight Technologies, NetSys, and PC DOCS/Fulcrum will be on site in a one-stop-shop vendor exhibition.
