In Brief ... Aunty has the answers
Aunty Abha's Electronic Publishing, a Sydney firm which publishes legal source information, is to release its consolidated corporations law across the Internet.
This move will provide access to consolidated legislation as little as two weeks after amendments are posted. It also means that lawyers will not need to wait for longer stretches of time to access legal amendments in print or electronic formats.
Aunty Abha's has sought to fill what it sees as a void by providing more complete access to rapidly evolving legislation. "Not only were we dealing with large amending Acts such as the Company Law Review Act 1998," said Aunty Abha's managing director Abha Lessing, "we were also dealing with amendments to the amending Acts such as the Taxation Laws Amendment (Company Law Review) Act 1998 - all of which had to be incorporated."
