ASG Scores $2 Million Oracle Contract with ACT Government
December 12, 2007: IT Services Provider, ASG Group has been selected to clean up the mess in Canberra where 9 different Oracle financial systems will be consolidated into one instance.
The project is being classified as a re-implementation as the ACT Government is pleased with Oracle’s financial application system, it just wants the nine separate instances consolidated.
The 2 year contact comes with an estimated price tag of $2 million and will be for the Shared Services Centre who provide processing services to 12 different Government agencies.
“This is an important project for the Territory and we are very pleased to be able to assist in providing high quality, cost efficient services to ACT taxpayers,” said Richard Everett, ASG Regional Manager.
ASG has been etching out a name for itself in the Government space as this contract win follows on from the WA Department of Corrective Services and the Victorian Education and Ambulance contracts it’s landed this year.
“This project is similar to what we are currently undertaking for the WA Government’s Shared Corporate Services project to drive productivity and efficiency gains for the state’s government agencies, leveraging tangible returns.“ said Everett.
