Global Slowdown Boosts Free CRM Packages

October 27, 2008: According to CRM software provider SalesPush.com, the current economic quagmire is giving free CRM software solutions a leg up, with companies gravitating towards free packages.

While it has only been in operation for a month, the CRM software developer says it has signed up a 76 new corporate clients, all of which were attracted to its free basic edition of SalesPush.

“The rate of take up has exceeded our expectations when we launched the product,” said SalesPush.com CEO Mark Donkin.

“It seems that the economic slowdown is really having an impact on corporate spending decisions. Our conception of SalesPush as a free to use, simple and effective CRM system has clearly struck a chord with a lot of IT and Sales Directors all over the world.”

Donkin claims that most SMEs are paying too much for CRM systems that are often not adopted by large segments of the workforce.
