Buffalo Enhances SMB Storage Systems

January 12, 2009: Continuing the run of announcements from the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, networking and storage solution provider Buffalo Technology has unveiled its latest batch of SMB storage solutions in the form of the newly designed TeraStation Duo and TeraStation III.

The company says the new TeraStation Duo and TeraStation III offer higher capacities, enhanced backup speeds and hot spare and hot swap capabilities.

Aimed squarely at SMBs, the latest TeraStation devices include features that support dependable backup, eco-conscious power management and enhanced business and reliability features.

Buffalo says that the new devices also enable users to transfer digital content at faster rates for rapid securing and backup of larger files on multiple servers.

“As businesses grow, so does their data and need to keep it protected,” said Ken Higgins, vice president of sales at Buffalo Technology. “Buffalo is continuously pushing the envelope to develop products that not only provide these necessities with high capacities and secure encryption, but raises the standards with faster transfer speeds, power management systems and much more.”
