IBM unveils ECM University
February 20, 2009: IBM Australia has announced a three-day event dedicated to the company's enterprise content management (ECM) technologies, to be held in Sydney from 10-12 March 2009.
ECM Technical University 2009, as the event has been dubbed, will dive into a wide array of new ECM products and releases.
There will be dedicated sessions exploring how real world users have deployed solutions to content management challenges. Attending the technical sessions will lead to complimentary professional certification.
Some of the technical streams will include a closer look at:* Improving availability of your ECM Platform With IBM FileNet System Monitor; * Content Manager Performance Analysis and Tuning;* Implementing IBM FileNet P8;* Content and Process Design Methods to maximise "Reuse and Sociability"; and* an update on IBM's Capture Strategy and offerings following the acquisition of FileNet, to show how batch capture can be extended with automation and in-process capture capabilities across the enterprise.
