Schneider powers up SAP with ReadSoft

April 15, 2009:Schneider Electric has decided to implement ReadSoft's invoice processing solutions for SAP in the Pacific Zone to improve its invoice process efficiency. The agreement covers the processing of approximately 210,000 invoices annually at its Shared Services Division in Adelaide, Australia.

Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries worldwide. It offers integrated solutions across multiple industries, including electrical utilities, water and waste treatment plants, public sector, oil and gas, marine, as well as a broad presence in residential applications.

"The most important motivating factor for this investment is process improvement in accounts payable," says Tom Schoepf, Finance Manager, at Schneider Electric Pacific Zone.

"As the Schneider Electric group is implementing SAP, choosing a solution closely integrated with SAP was an important deciding factor. We looked at several providers but ReadSoft met our criteria. Moreover, the scanning and OCR functionalities provided by ReadSoft look superior to what we have seen elsewhere."
