Wipro launches hosted Documentum

June 10, 2009:Wipro has announced the launch of Hosted Document Management (HDM) solution - offering EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management 6.5 as a Saas service.

The Indian IT services and offshoring giant with a base in Australia will offer the solution able to be configured to address the content management requirements of wide range of industries and business processes, including financial services, human resources, procurement, legal, manufacturing and real estate applications.

"HDM automates business processes and management of transactional content without having to worry about infrastructure, labour and time to market," said Jayakrishnan Sasidharan, vice-president, Portals and Content Management, Wipro Technologies.

"This results in substantial cost savings for the clients and helps address their specific ECM need of managing transactional content and enhancing business process efficiency," he added.
