ISYS opens up for Lucid search

June 10, 2009:ISYS Search Software is teaming up with Lucid Imagination to support the market for open source Apache Lucene and Solr search technologies.

As part of the partnership, Lucid Imagination will use the ISYS File Readers document filter solution to supply its open source search implementations with advanced text extraction.

Today’s typical enterprise deals with millions of documents in hundreds of different formats, and ISYS File Readers extract text from these documents so that they can be indexed by an open source search solution.

The ISYS embedded search suite also includes ISYS:sdk 9, which is currently used inside several enterprise-class applications, including the EMC SourceOne suite, HP TRIM, Autodesk’s AutoCAD, and more.
