Partnership plots SAP SharePoint integration

July 28, 2009:ERP-Link Corp. and KnowledgeLake have announced plans to integrate and jointly promote a solution for using MOSS2007 as an SAP ArchiveLink-based ECM or document management solution for "inside SAP" business processes.

They will also work to create easy-to-use SharePoint applications to capture, connect, and manage both structured and unstructured content and data integrated within SAP environments.

ERP-Link iNet.DM software uses the SAP ArchiveLink facility to automatically link incoming and outgoing business documents to specific SAP enterprise objects and processes, which are then stored in SharePoint/MOSS2007. ERP-Link customers useiNet software for SAP document-centric processes such as Invoice Processing, HR Records Management, Plant Maintenance, and for content management functions such as records management, SAP data and DART archival, plus SAP Solutions Manager-based project team sites.

"Because we at ERP-Link are seeing more interest in incorporating SAP environments into Microsoft-based document management solutions, we're pleased to welcome KnowledgeLake to the growing number of vendors who are incorporating theiNet SAP-Microsoft interoperability platform into their software solutions," said Eric Anderson, President of ERP-Link Corp.

"This partnership means that customers deploying enterprise content management applications will benefit from KnowledgeLake's expertise and ERP-Link's ability to make it easy to integrate SAP environments with Microsoft SharePoint."
