RecordPoint adds VERS 2 Certification

August 19, 2009:Unique World’s RecordPoint, a Records and Document Management solution for SharePoint, has been certified under the Victorian Electronic Record Strategy (VERS) Version 2 Specifications 1-5.

Defined by the Public Record Office of Victoria (PROV), VERS is a framework of standards, guidance, training, consultancy and implementation projects, which is centred around the goal of reliably and authentically archiving electronic records. In addition to VERS, RecordPoint is also State Records, NAA and ISO15489 compliant.

RecordPoint is a 3rd generation, rules based records management solution built exclusively on the Microsoft SharePoint platform and is speci­fically designed to cater for the record-keeping challenges of an increasingly electronic world.
