Bamboo has launched a new application suite designed to enable business process automation within a SharePoint.

Workflow Conductor is optimised for business users such as program managers, project managers, and other information workers across the enterprise. It features an easy-to-use drag-and-drop interface that enables automation of everyday business processes without coding or IT intervention.

Bamboo seeks to make business process automation through SharePoint easier and more affordable for the small to medium enterprise, and is priced at $US4,500 per server.

Workflow Conductor is built on Microsoft’s Windows Workflow Foundation.

“Our vision for Workflow Conductor includes interoperability with both local systems and hosted instances of SharePoint, including SharePoint Online, and cloud-based environments built on platforms like Microsoft Azure,” says Mike Tanner, CEO of Bamboo Solutions.

“Workflow Conductor will leverage our existing portfolio of products and our upcoming line of Cloud Parts, to automate business processes that extend beyond the firewall."

Workflow Conductor is available now for download, trial, and purchase on the Bamboo Web site (www.bamboosolutions.com). An optional premium support package is also available.
