Kofax captures Australian insurer
Kofax has announced it will provide a document capture solution to one of Australia’s largest insurance providers and leading workers compensation insurer, in a deal worth around $US800,000.
Kofax did not name the customer but it did indicate that the organization will use Kofax software to scan, separate, classify and extract data from more than 12 million pages of workers compensation and related medical claims it receives annually.
The resulting data and images will be exported into a Lombardi workflow for adjudication and an Alfresco Repository for archival.
Allianz Australia is an Australian Alfresco Enterprise customer that is currently advertising for Business Process Management experts with knowledge of Lombardi Teamworks.
“Workers compensation and benefits claims processing are complex functions that demand sophisticated capture solutions to seamlessly and cohesively drive business process automation,” said Alan Kerr, Executive Vice President of Field Operations at Kofax.
“This sale demonstrates our ability to provide solutions that improve productivity and generate rapid payback for customers.”
