Business Continuity and the Virtual World

October 19, 2007: Virtualisation changes the paradigm of disaster recovery (DR) which Business Continuity Asia Pacific and VMware hope to address as they present the ‘turn-key’ enablement of cost-effective DR across both physical and virtual platforms in a seminar road-show.

Presented from solutions architects at Business Continuity Asia Pacific (BCAP) and VMware the road-show will address the demands of data protection and business continuity in today’s evolving market space.

BCAP says professionals with a vested interest in protecting the data of their organisations will learn tips for calculating recovery time objective (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RTO) as well as the risks and benefits of ‘consolidation’ and P2V migration.

Attendees will also gain an insight into leveraging Double-take and VMware solutions to meet business continuity needs across both their physical and virtual platforms.

The road show will kick off in Sydney on Tuesday the 23rd of October, move onto Melbourne on the 24th and finally hit Brisbane of the 29th.
