IntelliDocX has launched its DocSet.ECM solution solution for SAP and SharePoint, which promises to enhances content rich SAP business processes by intelligently optimising content utilisation for all users.  

Over twenty SAP business functions, including areas such as Plant Maintenance, HR, Accounting, Contracts Management have been addressed by DocSet.ECM for SAP and SharePoint.

It provides an intuitive interface to all relevant documents with unified integration and utilization across SAP applications and SharePoint. SharePoint users enjoy the very same business process oriented view of document sets and related data and can perform the same document actions as the inside SAP user; SAP ERP is the business system of record and SharePoint the enterprise content management system.  

The DocSet.ECM for SAP and SharePoint is built on the Norikkon DocSet.ECM for SAP solution and also utilizes Gimmal’s ERP-Link Suite, a SharePoint based solution for SAP with SAP ArchiveLink connectivity and process interoperability that is SAP certified.  

IntelliDocx says this makes for a superior solution to legacy enterprise content management solutions because it doesn’t require the cost or complexity of maintaining separate content repositories, and it includes enhanced content utilisation and process interoperability in a single solution.
