Aprimo Scores Major BI Arrangement

August 13th, 2007: Business Intelligence solutions provider, Business Objects (BO) has chosen Aprimo Enterprise software to be part of its global platform.

BO has chosen Aprimo’s flagship product, Aprimo Enterprise to be its enterprise marketing software solution. This development means BO will use Aprimo software in all of its marketing operations. “Aprimo Enterprise will help us improve our campaign and lead management, thereby bolstering our company’s marketing effectiveness” Said Franz Aman, vice-president of corporate marketing at Business Objects.

Business intelligence is an area in high demand, with companies loading up on technologies that will help them better analyse company information. With more then 43,000 organisations using BO’s business intelligence solutions world wide, the Aprimo marketing software will be a key component to expanding BO’s marketing drive.

BO believe the implementation will mean “improved control of marketing spend, enhanced collaboration across our extended global marketing community” Aman said. BO is hoping this will lead to improved global performance and enable the optimisation of revenue growth.

Aprimo Enterprise will enable BO’s “entire global marketing operation with best-in-class marketing technology,“ said Bill Godfrey, CEO and chairman of Aprimo. BO will be added to Aprimo’s existing list of high profile customers including Bank of America, Home Depot, Toyota, Time Warner Cable and Warner Bros.
