Blue Prism has announced a series of partnerships and initiatives to enhance the integration of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and document capture. These are in addition to its own Decipher product announced last month, and an existing partnership with ABBYY

Enterprise organizations continue to push the boundaries in search of technologies that can understand and liberate meaning from unstructured content – documents, email communications, images, and text – given content is central to all business processes and activities.

Companies are investing heavily in robotic process automation (RPA) to carve out a competitive advantage, according to a survey of executives from 450 companies in 14 markets worldwide (including Australia) conducted by protiviti. The survey found the average annual spend on RPA was around US$5 million, with the largest organisations planning to invest up to US$20 million.
