We’ve known that InfoPath is on its way out for a while now. What hasn’t been clear is what its successor will be. Forms on SharePoint Lists looked to be a promising first-party alternative, but were cancelled, and Microsoft is still working on a new forms solution. This isn’t much use for users who want forms right now.

Before the advent of powerful and more compact computers, information management in the health sector was localised and dependent on paper workflows.   As computer applications began to be developed to offset the use of paper, data repositories were created to contain patient information. They were in effect silos that had no means to communicate with each other or share information.  

The bouncer who released footage from a Queenstown, New Zealand bar featuring English rugby player Mike Tindall, has had his conviction under the Crimes Act upheld by the Supreme Court. The court's decision is based on its finding that the digital file Mr Dixon removed from the bar constitutes property under the Crimes Act.
