Data Quality must deliver for the e-health revolution

The move towards activity-based funding as part of national health reform in Australia will put a spotlight on data quality, as hospitals receive funding based on the number and type of cases they treat. A similar regime is also on the horizon in Canada, where the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) is charged with ensuring the quality of health care data.
