November 7th, 2006: Marketing Solutions Incorporated has released a new web-based CRM package that focuses on automating marketing and sales processes for SMBs.

The company says that the new solution, called Nexus, separates itself from other web-based CRM applications as it captures real-time orders, customer history, customer and prospect information, sales commission, sales forecasting and one-to-one marketing.

MSI already offers web-enabled CRM software, however, it says that Nexus adds a number of important abilities on top of this. Namely the ability to rank open quotes, sales orders, and/or open invoices, up-sell and cross-sell capabilities helped by what it calls a 360 degree view of customer data, and an adjustable chart reflecting various stages within the sales cycle is displayed on a sales pipeline report to help ensure opportunities are being maximised.

While it claims that Nexus is suitable for all businesses, it certainly has a sales slant as every function and process of Nexus includes marketing, sales, customer service, fulfillment, order management and finance options.
