Frost & Sullivan awards information management

At this year's Frost & Sullivan awards information management technologies figured well and took the honours.

Amongst the companies going home with an award proudly clutched to their chests were customer relationship management vendors Avaya, digital asset management application vendors Canto and geographical information systems (GIS) players Esrey.

Canto's Cumulus 5.5 digital asset management application received the "Best Bang for the Buck" award, giving recognition to digital asset management applications in the business marketplace. Mukul Krishna the digital industry analyst for Frost & Sullivan said "Cumulus is a great option in this economy for companies that are reluctant to shell out big bucks for digital asset management solutions."

This was the third year in a row that Avaya won the Frost & Sullivan award for CRM market leadership in the Asia Pacific region.
