Indonesia votes with Kofax

August 27, 2009:The Indonesian government elections agency has turned to Kofax for a document capture solution.

The organization will use Kofax software to capture data from approximately 60,000 multi-page voter summary reports and related documents collected from 68 locations throughout the country on an annual basis.

The Kofax solution will enable the agency to significantly improve voter document processing productivity, accuracy and security by reducing its reliance on labor-intensive manual processing tasks that are inefficient and error prone. It will also ensure faster processing times, significant cost savings and enhanced reliability of election results.

“This sale illustrates our leadership within the government sector, where our solutions are being deployed around the globe to help agencies reduce their paper burden and drive down administrative costs,” said Alan Kerr, Executive Vice President of Field Operations at Kofax.

“The ability to automate the capture and processing of highly-sensitive mission-critical documents quickly, efficiently, accurately and securely is a powerful enabler for increasing productivity and generating a fast return on investment.”
