OCR software specialist ABBYY is teaming up with Australia’s Nuix to tackle the global market for electronic discovery and forensics.

ABBYY’s Recognition Server wil be offered in tandem with the Nuix search platform, a pairing that has already helped streamline electronic investigation processes at the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and law firms such as Williams Mullen.

Eddie Sheehy, CEO of Nuix said, “The integration of ABBYY Recognition Server to our Nuix solutions allows for fast and seamless conversion of a vast range of non-text searchable files into a searchable format.
