nQueue Billback to launch iA Route

nQueue Billback has developed a new scan engine, iA Route, to power the company's third-generation user interface, iA Scan, which allows users to better manage scans and capture more information related to scanning.

It says iA Scan combined with iA Route will allow users to effectively direct scans right from their multi-function device (MFD) while simultaneously managing and recovering costs.

Scans can be automatically routed directly to a document management system, time-and-billing system, or directly to a user's email or desktop anywhere in the firm. Firms will gain more efficiency and security by reducing clicks and the time it takes to scan a document and deposit it into the desired location and format. iA Route will support popular formats such as Word, searchable PDF, PDF/A, TIFF and others and is fully scalable to support any number of users.

"iA Scan combined with iA Route will allow our users to work more efficiently, by automating workflow and consolidating operations at the MFP," said John Gilbert, Senior Vice President at nQueue Billback. At the same time, it will automatically capture key information about the scan, the matter and the client.

"Information is key," added Gilbert. "For many firms, the ability to capture, understand and use cost-related information is paramount to profitability."

Once information is captured, it can be used to improve workflows, optimise resource utilization, perform profitability analysis, and more. iA Scan combined with iA Route is aimed at at firms of any size.
