Laserfiche has announced an integration between its ECM solution and the DocuSign eSignature platform to automate document signing, validation and archiving.

“Our goal was to complement our existing digital signature solutions to provide secure support for external digital signers,” said Jereb Cheatham, Vice President of Strategic Services at Laserfiche. 

“By integrating DocuSign into Laserfiche, our customers get a faster, easier and more secure experience for managing their transactions and documents online.”

Forrester Research predicts that by 2020, the majority of e-signature transactions will occur on mobile devices. According to the Gartner report "The Electronic Signature Market Is Poised to Take Off," the e-signature market grew 48 percent in one year, climbing from $US111 million in 2010 to $US164 million in 2011, with a similar growth trajectory forecast for 2012. 

The DocuSign integration was created through the Laserfiche Professional Developer Partnership (PDP) program, which provides access to a variety of third-party integrations, configurations, plug-ins and Web tools. Customers may purchase the integration from Laserfiche resellers.
