Workflow smoothed with PaperWorks

Canon Australia has released a new document distribution software package, eCopy PaperWorks.


The product helps to streamline workflows by better integrating paper and digital elements into the one document and offers a range of sharing and security features.


Users can combine scanned or faxed documents with word processor files, spreadsheets, presentations or email documents to create a secure, searchable PDF document that is easy to manage and distribute. The built-in OCR engine also creates searchable text for any text which has been formatted as part of an image so the entire document becomes searchable.


Enhanced document management connectors also help users to integrate their documents into other management systems such as Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum, AutonomyWorksite and Open Text eDocs DM . Additionally, enhanced security stamps and unique reference numbering helps to organise, track and account for business documents.
