PaperPort Sweeps BERTL Awards

May 14, 2007: Nuance’s ScanSoft PaperPort has swept the BERTL awards, scoring three “BERTL’s BEST” for Best Desktop Document Management Application.

BERTL Inc. is an independent organisation that focuses on product reports and comparative analyses for digital imaging devices and workflow solutions.

PaperPort snagged all three awards in the document management application category as well as the best OEM solution for EFI Desktop SE and Konica Minolta Unity Desktop.

“PaperPort has become the de-facto standard desktop for network and connected scanning because it makes scanning an easy and productive experience for everyone,” said Robert Weideman, general manager and senior vice president for Nuance Productivity Applications.

“We are especially pleased at the recognition provided by BERTL to our OEM partners EFI and Konica Minolta.”
