May 18, 2007: In order to keep up with market demand, Clearswift says it sole Australia distributor itX is looking to double the number of Clearswift resellers across the country.

With email and web appliances on offer from Clearswift, the vendor says the expansion comes as a result of an evolved security market that now has IT managers looking to integrate plug and play security solutions to protect their networks.

In the MIMEsweep appliance market alone, Greg Newham, general manager for itX distribution says there are ‘excellent’ returns for reseller participation. “Resellers can easily make money by offering an integrated applicae in their overall solution,” he says. “They can offer security to their installed base – expanding their existing business and value-add.”

Newham also suggests IT managers are looking for out-of-the-box email security solutions that are easy to deploy, manage and support. “They need to stop all threats at the gateway, but don’t want to spend valuable time updating virus profiles, tweaking spam thresholds and wading through quarantine lists,” he says.

After a successful run with itX, Clearswift they will now work on a number of new resellers in their Clearswift partner Program.
