New Kiwi Reseller for NetApp

February 19, 2007: NetApp has taken on Revera as its latest New Zealand based storage reseller.

Revera, a computing infrastructure service provider, will use NetApp’s unified storage solution to offer customers a wider choice of enterprise storage solutions, especially for the virtual data centre and hosting services.

NetApp says their latest partnership with Revera fits in line with the company’s policy to form alliances with a small number of high value resellers. “In a market like New Zealand the game is most certainly quality, not quantity,” says Garry Collings, NetApp New Zealand’s country manager. “We have watched Revera’s progress with interest and are very pleased to be working with them.”

For Revera, it’s a chance to further develop its customer base and build on their enterprise storage and hosting platform solutions. “We have a significant legacy as expert storage managers and to effectively leverage this experience we needed to broaden our range of storage offerings” says Roger Cockayne, managing director for Revera. Cockayne says NetApp’s replication and data migration technologies will boost the rollout of Revera’s DataCloud, remote backup and restore services as well as disaster recovery solutions.
