Objective 7.2 Released

Month Date, 2008: Fresh off a string of major contract signings, Objective Corporation has released the newest version of its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution.

Objective 7.2 aims to enable customers to access content directly from within explorer, outlook and increase the reach to standards-based web applications.

“We are pleased to say that our accelerated investment in R&D has led to substantial new capabilities released in Objective 7.2,” said Tony Walls, CEO, Objective.

The new version includes several new features and enhancements to existing components such as Outreach, WinTalk, WebTalk, Docsearch and Portal 7.2.

Walls explains that the release continues the architectural revolution which began with the first release of the Objective 7 generation of the product.

“Objective 7.0 introduced industry leading Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Objective 7.1 extended this by introducing our Web Services offering, WebTalk, built on an industry leading Enterprise Services Bus platform. Objective 7.2 leverages WebTalk and provides even greater ease-of-use through integration with the Windows operating system and the Microsoft Outlook email application,” said Walls.
