Regulatory compliance technology solution provider Zantaz has acquired corporate email management software provider Educom for an undisclosed sum.

Steve King, President and CEO of Zantaz, said of the deal: "Electronic communications are among the most strategic - and scrutinised - assets in any organisation. The addition of Educom significantly extends our ability to meet the full range of needs of our customers by providing both hosted and onsite e-communications solutions for compliance, discovery and email management."

"We believe Educom's best-of-breed products, global distribution network, and broad customer base will add significant value to Zantaz as we continue to build on our momentum."

Organisations worldwide that rely on Microsoft's Exchange Server as a strategic business tool use Educom technology to manage their email storage.

We share the same vision, focus and commitment, and together we will provide the broadest range of world-class solutions that help customers effectively meet today's e-communications management requirements."
