Ilford, Epson buddy up

As part of a new strategic alliance, Ilford Imaging signed a worldwide distributor agreement with Epson.

The partnership ties together the two companies’ digital imaging product offerings, such as Ilford’s media products and Epson’s hardware products.

The two companies said they expected the effort gone into profiling Ilford’s inkjet media with Epson’s new range of 7600 & 9600 Stylus Pro printers to corner the digital imaging market.

”Ilford and Epson are a perfect fit,” said Andrew Stewart, managing director of Ilford Asia Pacific. “We have developed a new digital imaging system which places complete creative control back in the hands of the professional photographer. The new system will help expand business opportunities by providing a complete in-house custom printing and enlargement service.”
