Mobius trips into Australia

Mobius is a name which has become strongly associated with forms processing in the US, and the company is hoping to emulate that success in the Australian market in existing SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft environments.

The company's DocumentDirect application is certified for all three of those ERP suites, and can also store images and forms data to many storage devices, including tape, magneto-optical jukeboxes and COLD/ERM systems.

Craig Wilson, business development manager for Australia/New Zealand for Mobius, said that while the company had grown over a period of 18 years in America, it had only set up shop in Australia 12 months ago.

Rather than selling hardware as part of a package, Mr Wilson said Mobius would help organisations use their existing infrastructure to produce the best result. Telstra is Mobius' largest existing Australian user, in a project based around its Flex CABS billing system which has a total throughput of 32 million documents per day.
