John Moran is the general manager for Eastman Software, a Kodak Business. Mr Moran's 18-year career with Kodak positions him well to speak on knowledge management.
During his career with Kodak, he has held numerous positions in product management and sales & marketing management including postings to Rochester in the US, Melbourne and Sydney.

Dr Colin Metz, vice-president, knowledge management, will represent Educom on the panel. Dr Metz has tertiary qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (London), and also holds an MBA from the University of Cape Town. He has over 12 years experience as a consultant in the IT industry, having provided consulting services to organisations including Brambles, SBS, NSW Public Works, Prospect Electricity, and the Department of Health & Family Services.

Steve Middendorf, vice-president, will represent FileNET Corporation. Mr Middendorf established FileNETÕs operations in Australia in 1992, and was given the responsibility for all of Asia-Pacific in 1995. He is currently consolidating the companyÕs various operations into FileNETÕs headquarters in Singapore.

Brett Vincent, the solution sales manager A/NZ, KM unit, will represent IBM. He is responsible for coordinating the delivery of knowledge management solutions to the enterprise. He has been in the IT industry for 15 years and comes from a background of solutions providers including Boole and Babbage UK, and New Dimensions Software, Israel, and has a degree in business/information systems.

Hugh Milikin, managing director and founder, will represent Jetform Pacific. Originally from Canada, Mr Milikin spent eight years as project manager for the Canadian Government. In 1988 he relocated to Australia where he founded Indigo Pacific, which later merged with Jetform Corporation.

Rob King, vice resident - international sales, Altris Software will represent Optum. Mr King has more than 10 years experience in the document management industry, and has been a major contributor to the development of the vision and strategy behind the exciting new Altris EB product.

John Frost, managing director, will represent Tower Technology. Mr Frost joined Tower Technology in 1988 to coordinate the companyÕs R&D program, and later relocated to London to establish its first overseas office. This office is now a leading supplier of solutions throughout Europe. In 1996 he was appointed managing director with operational responsibility for Australia/ SE Asia.
